The Blue Devil Run is an annual 2-mile fun run presented by Sout's Univserity Recreation (UREC) and sponsored by local businesses. The event required rebranding the previous year’s design and required a combination of physical and digital deliverables.
In addition to the main project, smaller projects relevant to the event were assigned. “Save The Date: Blue Devil Run” was a sub-project that was assigned prior to the main Blue Devil Run. And help with comming a look and feel for the main event.
The project required consistent communication between project coordinators, vendors as well as Stout's Marketing Communications department (MarCom) throughout the entire design processes.
While finalizing the look and feel, UW-Stout introduced it's new idenitity and requested that all external and high visibility projects follow the new brands guidelines. Which included several UREC projects including the Blue Devil Glow Run.
Luckily minor changes had to be made to the orignial desgin. Discussions with a repersenative from (MarCom) helped with coming up with compromises that respected the original design and Stout's new brand.
